Soundproofing is now being requested more often. Each noise-producing machine can cause serious damage to human hearing.
ATAG supplies materials developed to avoid noise propagation (phono-impeditive) and those that directly absorb noise reverberation (phono-absorbing).
By varying the density, thickness and form of the materials and also by linking the different qualities of these components we can offer many different solutions that can eliminate every disturbing frequency.
Thermal insulation is based on new materials that substitute asbestos. We offer sheets and hand-manufactured products that have been designed to meet specific requirements and are made from both normal anti-condensing material and glass-fibre, PTFE-glass, or baked clay (amorphous fibre) useable even at 1600 °C.
