The Role of ATAG

To explain what service can give ATAG in this process it is necessary to go back to the machine that carries out the treatment. We mentioned an electrically “earthed” roller.

This roller serves as a counter electrode, so grounding the charge of the high-frequency current which ionizes the air, and at the same time supports the film at the correct distance from the electrode.

Well, this roller can be coated with a special silicone sleeve that acts as a charge damper, is able to withstand the operating temperature, is sufficiently elastic and soft to be a good material for carrying the film, has suitable features that justify its use and is readily available from ATAG.
