With this word we refer to a pipe or a pipeline normally having (but not necessarily) the shape of a cylinder, made in different materials and sizes, used to carry fluids, gas or solid materials.
It can be rigid or flexible. It can be produced in one material, such as plastic, rubber or metal, or structured in various layers of different materials that have specific characteristics. Its construction can be easy or complex. It’s something very common we can’t do without.
