Compulsory marking

Compulsory marking

Most of flexible hoses have a “standard” marking. This helps to keep the traceability of the processing and usually defines the hose general parameters (such as diameter, production batch, etc..).

In general we distinguish among three types of marking:

1. Stamp (printing)

It’s an ink jet printer marking . This marking is more economical compared to other types of identification, but the duration can be smaller. This type of marking can be used in all kind of hoses.

2. Identification labelling

The text or the desired distinctive element are transferred on a transfer film. During the vulcanizing process the writing is transmitted and printed on the surface of the rubber hoses. It is a perfectly recognizable and pleasant-looking marking. This marking method is generally available for all the cloth impression rubber hoses.

3. Embossed labelling

The writing is printed on the outer surface of the rubber hoses using an embossed labelling. It has by far the longest duration because it is imprinted in the compound of the coverage. It can be used only on rubber hoses built on mandrel.
